Who we are

This policy covers stallions.org.au, run by SRTC Group Inc., trading as Stallion Rideshare and Taxi Cover ("Stallion", "we"), 19 Irene Avenue, Coburg North VIC 3058. It explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• When you ask for a quote or a callback: your first and last name, mobile number, email, the platforms you drive for, the plan you're interested in, your car's make, model and year, how much you drive, the best time to call and any message you add.
• When you become a member: the details we need to set up and manage your membership, such as your licence and vehicle details, payment details, and the drivers of your vehicle.
• From equipment in your car: location data from the GPS tracker, and footage from the dashcam on the Dash Cam & GPS Plan, which we may retrieve after an incident.
• After an accident: details of the incident and of the other parties involved, photos, and correspondence with other drivers, insurers and our legal representatives.
• When you use the website: technical details such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and call you back.
• To check eligibility, set up your membership and bill you.
• To install, manage and recover the dashcam and GPS tracker.
• To handle claims, arrange towing and repairs, and recover costs from at-fault parties.
• To contact you about your membership, an incident or our service.
• To keep the website secure, understand how it's used and improve it.
• To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only when it's needed for the purposes above, with:

• Nationwide Collisions, our repair partner, for repairs;
• towing providers, assessors, our legal representatives, other parties' insurers and the police, when a claim or incident needs it;
• service providers who help us run the business, such as Zoho (our customer records), Google (website analytics) and Vercel (website hosting).

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. It sets cookies in your browser for this. Analytics only runs on stallions.org.au. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

The quote and callback forms send your details to our Zoho customer records so we can call you back.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you by emailing contact@stallions.org.au. If you have a privacy complaint, email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
